Her doctorate in Organizational Psychology and Master's in Research, with a concentration in Clinical Psychology was received from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. Her undergraduate education in psychology was completed at Spelman College in Atlanta, GA.

Dedicated to the empowerment of the human spirit, Dr. LaBeach has served as the Associate Director of Counseling at Faithful Central Bible Church in Los Angeles, California. She is also a founder of The Brightest Stars Foundation, dedicated to educating girls in impoverished communities and underdeveloped countries, and a founder of The Professional Organization of Women.

A native New Yorker, born to Caribbean parents, she is happily married to Calvin Thomas IV and taking each day by storm. Without a doubt, Dr. LaBeach is a dynamic and charismatic presence who gives new meaning to her personal motto “Life is a Gift. Living is a Choice!”
